Le 56

Paris, France

Le 56 is located on a formerly unused piece of land which had remained undeveloped due to outstanding conflicts between building developers and the municipality. A collective platform atelier d’architecture autogeree / studio for self-managed architecture(aaa) invited to resolve the issue.

Contents of research
This open building hosted different events, allowing participants to meet each other and to participate in the decision-making process during construction. It is filled with productive plant beds, a mobile green house and a shared collective space. It includes compost toilets, a rainwater collector, a compost laboratory and a wild bird corridor. Based in the resources, I made a flow scheme of user, energy and built environments.
